The Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) has received the number of plates requested as of August 1, 2005, so we are not taking any additional reservations at this time.  Based on the requests to date, they will produce more than enough plates to support the demand.

DO NOT WORRY.  Any time on or after July 1, 2006, plates will be available at your local DMV office for pick up by anyone that would like them.  You do not have to have a prior reservation to obtain them.
